Horse Riding at ZURI.CAMP

At ZURI.CAMP, we invite you to experience the African bush in a natural and honest way – on horseback.

We are a small farm and it reflects our love for nature and all animals that live here, from our horses, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens, to the wild ones who roam freely across the land like porcupines, mongooses, warthogs, caracal, honey badgers, dik diks, aardvarks, genets, bushbabies, many different kind of birds and so much more.

If you’re staying with us in one of our glamping tents or on one of our campsites, this is a wonderful way to experience even deeper our land, animals and the way of life, we live here.

Our horses are part of our daily business, and are also trained for endurance riding. We sometimes ride them in competitions too. Their well-being always comes first and we keep them as close to their natural way of life as possible, with space to move, strong social bonds, and a respectful approach to their needs. We love each of our horses for who they are, each with their own personality.

Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a child or an adult, a first-time rider or experienced in the saddle. Beginners can join us for a relaxed one-hour ride at walking pace across the farm. It’s a calm and joyful insight into the world of horseback riding.

More experienced riders can head out with us on a longer tour through the bush, where we pick up the pace and enjoy the freedom and thrill of a gallop.

We would love to share with you a piece of our life and to connect with our animals. It’s about being outside, breathing deeply, sharing experiences with our horses and the beauty that surrounds us.
